Product Description

304 Stainless Steel Saponification and Vacuum Drying System Saponification Equipment Soap Drying Machine

The Cold Roller Machine is a robust and highly efficient unit designed to continuously cool and solidify liquid soap, soap/syndet blends, and fully syndet products into uniform flakes. Its core consists of two specially engineered, counter-rotating stainless steel rolls, each fitted with an internal cooling jacket. Cold water circulates through a precisely machined spiral channel that runs across the entire inner surface of each drum, ensuring exceptional heat transfer uniformity and consistent product quality.

Product Description

Scraper dryer is an internal cooling conduction type rotary continuous drying equipment. The rotating drum passes through the lower chute and adheres to a film of thickness. The heat is transported through the pipe to the inner wall of the drum, to theouter wall of the drum, and then to the feed film, so that the humidity in the film is evaporated and dehumidified. Dry the moisture content of the material. The dried material is placed on the surface of the drum scraper shovel away from the drum to the screw conveyor placed under the scraper, the dry material is concentrated and packaged by the screw conveyor.

This simple yet reliable design minimizes maintenance, reduces energy consumption, and delivers stable output for a wide range ofdetergent and personal-care formulations.

Machine working principle

Each drum and the product discharge conveyor are driven by independent motor-reducer units, which enable variable-speed control for optimal process adaptation. This separate drive arrangement not only simplifies maintenance—allowing each component to be serviced individually without halting the entire line—but also offers great operational flexibility, such as adjusting drum speeds independently to fine‑tune flake thickness and production rate.

Liquid soap or syndet slurry is fed via a metering pump onto the rotating rolls, where it is spread uniformly across the full roll width, forming a thin film of 0.3 to 0.5 mm. Thanks to the efficient internal cooling system, this film solidifies rapidly as the rolls revolve. The solidified layer is then continuously scraped off by adjustable doctor blades, which are precision‑ground and set at an optimal angle to ensure complete removal without roll surface damage. The resulting flakes drop onto a discharge conveyor belt, which carries them smoothly to the downstream packaging or storage area, maintaining a constant and uninterrupted material flow.

FAQs

1. What is cold roller drying in soap making?
Cold roller drying rapidly solidifies liquid soap base (80-90°C) by applying it onto chilled rotating drums. The soap instantly forms thin, dry flakes – replacing traditional 7-day tray drying with just 0.5-1 hour.

2. What is the capacity range of this plant?
Capacities range from 200 to 5000 kg per hour, depending on the model and configuration. Custom sizes are available.

3. What is the moisture content of the dried soap?
The final dried soap flakes have a moisture content of 12-14%, ideal for further processing into soap noodles.

4. Is the system made entirely of 304 stainless steel?
All soap-contact parts are 304 stainless steel for corrosion resistance, hygiene, and durability. Supporting structures may be carbon steel.
